How to tell a sourced answer from a guess
Every answer here is either tied to a real citation or handed to a human — never guessed. So the shape of a reply tells you what it is before you read a word of it: a solid left edge means it is an answer, a dashed edge means it is not.
- Verified by a human expertA practising CA answered this and it was written into the knowledge base. The strongest signal here.
- Official sourceCited to the CGST Act, a CBIC notification or a GST Council document. Tap a source to open it.
- No source — sent to an expertNothing matched confidently, so nothing was answered. A human is on it and the answer lands in the same place.
- Not verifiedA reply arrived with no sources and no expert assigned. It is flagged rather than shown as advice. You should not see this.
Citations are built from the actual knowledge-base rows that were retrieved, never from the model's own text — so a made-up circular number cannot appear as a source. If a reply claims to be grounded but sends no sources, this app downgrades it to “not verified” and says so.
